September 2011 - POSTCODER.COM LAUNCHES PARTNER PROGRAMME
Channel programme launched to promote address lookup facilities to wider customer base, with the promise of an annual discount of up to £30,000 for partners.
PostCoder.com, a provider of specialist address lookup software, has launched a partner programme to promote its suite of address lookup tools to a wider target audience. Offering the promise of up to £30,000 annual discount on user licences, PostCoder.com is aiming to build an extensive network of VARs over the course of the next 12 months. Partners will be offered two separate programmes – namely, the Reseller Partner scheme, and the Referral Partner scheme.
The launch of the PostCoder.com partner programme follows the successful development of sister company WorldAddresses.com's international channel programme in 2010.
With over 20 years' experience in the address management industry PostCoder.com will be providing its partners with a suite of market-leading address lookup products, including access to its international offering in its WorldAddresses.com portfolio, to complement their existing applications.
Partners opting for the Reseller Programme are able to purchase user licences on their customers' behalf, and therefore manage the entire relationship with each end user themselves. From the fee charged to the end user to the technical support offered, every part of the customer-supplier relationship is managed by the partner. Selling just 20 user licences per month will earn the VARs an annual discount of up to £30,000 on the 'Per User' list price.
For partners opting for the Referral Programme however, all communication, from documentation, user licences and invoices, will be handled by PostCoder.com. Partners simply have to make a recommendation to prospective customers and PostCoder.com will reward them with a 15% rebate of the gross fee.
Emma Gooderham, Managing Director of PostCoder.com, comments, "Following the launch of the WorldAddresses.com international channel programme last year, it brings me great pleasure to be launching our domestic partner programme to further promote the PostCoder.com brand. Those organisations looking to partner with us can expect to benefit from the integration of our address lookup functionality into their existing applications. Through the programme, we also aim to not only expand our client base into new markets, but also to strengthen our offering to our existing customers by establishing and growing valuable partnerships. Through the creation of a successful channel network, we are confident that together, we will be able to bring a stronger proposition to market and create further competitive advantage."
Partners of PostCoder.com will be offered the chance to resell products including PostCoder Web, an online pay-as-you-go address lookup tool, PostCoder Web Nearest, a "find my nearest..." search facility for customers' websites, PostCoder API Professional, a powerful address collection and search API, PostCoder Pro, a full range of address finding searches and PostCoder Batch, an address database cleaning product. Partners looking to approach international customers will also benefit from the provision of the WorldAddresses.com portfolio of global addressing tools. The portfolio includes World Addresses Web, a hosted, cloud-based application that sources international addresses.
August 2011 - WORLDADDRESSES.COM TO LAUNCH SALESFORCE.COM ADDRESS LOOKUP PLUG-IN AT DREAMFORCE 2011
Dreamforce 2011 provides ideal platform for WorldAddresses.com to launch its Salesforce.com address lookup plug-in to market, offering demonstrations of its latest offerings to the address industry.
WorldAddresses.com, the highly successful address management company that also developed a portfolio of products under the UK PostCoder.com banner, today announces the launch of its Salesforce.com address lookup plug-in – an address validation tool which allows end-users in sales departments to instantly verify customer and prospect address data as it is entered into the Salesforce.com CRM.
WorldAddresses.com will be offering demonstrations of the address lookup plug-in at this year's Dreamforce event at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco on August 30th – September 2nd, Booth 15.
The address lookup tool, which can be bolted onto any Salesforce.com CRM system, allows users to simply and effectively check and validate customer address data as it is being entered, ensuring that when mail items – such as marketing materials or even contracts – are delivered, they will be delivered to the intended recipient first time. Hosted in a cloud-based environment, users can access then their intended customer address data 24/7 and even remotely.
Dreamforce is the largest cloud computing event of the year. Attendees are invited to training sessions and seminars, as well as being given the opportunity to network with industry peers to better understand how cloud computing technologies can help them to improve specific business processes and drive efficiencies. Exhibitors are invited to showcase their applications, with Salesforce.com and other partners on hand to offer demonstrations.
Emma Gooderham, Managing Director of WorldAddresses.com, comments, "Spurred on by a clearly growing demand for products that allow a more accurate address data entry process, we have developed the Salesforce.com address lookup plug-in. We are confident that users of the product will be able to then have utmost confidence in their ability to deliver items to their customers and prospects without the risk of inaccuracies. This will in turn allow them to better their levels of customer service and also reduce the costs associated with the re-postage of undelivered items or the wastage of undeliverable marketing materials. As the largest cloud computing trade show of the year, we feel that Dreamforce 2011 provides us with the perfect platform to launch the new product, and we therefore welcome visitors to our booth for a demonstration."
WorldAddresses.com is the highly successful address management company that developed World Addresses Web, a hosted, cloud-based application which allows e-tailers to provide customers with a quick and easy method with which to enter both domestic and international address entry through online postcode-based verification. WorldAddresses.com also developed a portfolio of products under the UK PostCoder.com banner.
August 2011 - PostCoder.com Celebrates 25 Years in the Address Data Management Industry
PostCoder.com, a leading provider of specialist address lookup software, this month announces its 25th year in the address management industry. Since its humble beginnings as a local software development company, the PostCoder.com brand has gone from strength to strength, and today has over 35,000 registered license users across the UK and many locations overseas.
To name just a few of PostCoder.com's recent triumphs in the past year, PostCoder.com has gone global with its sister brand, WorldAddresses.com; and version 2.0 of PostCoder's online address lookup product, PostCoder Web have been launched. 2011 will also mark West Suffolk Hospital's 20th year as a PostCoder.com client, demonstrating the company's commitment to providing customer service of the highest quality.
It was the announcement of the NHS Internal Market in 1990 that marked the catalyst for the creation of the PostCoder.com brand. Whereas prior to the announcement of this scheme, the local district health authority (DHA) would pay for any patient's treatment, regardless of whether they lived locally or otherwise, the introduction of the NHS Internal Market meant that the cost of the patient's treatment would be paid for by their own DHA. In order to comply with this requirement, hospitals had to have a record of all of their patients' postal addresses. Having already been contracted to the James Paget Hospital to work on software projects, Peter Allies, PostCoder.com's founder, was asked to produce a billing system for the hospital. As the means to getting correct Postcodes for what were at the time very poor quality addresses, Allies used the Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF), just then available as a programmers' utility package. The address matching engine which emerged marked the birth of the PostCoder.com address management software family. Using the Allies billing system, West Suffolk Hospital and the James Paget Hospital were the only two hospitals within the country to meet all of the requirements of the Internal Market by its April 1991 deadline.
Karen Leggett, Patient Administration System Manager at West Suffolk Hospital, comments, "Peter Allies specifically tailored the software solution to meet ours and the James Paget Hospital's requirements, and testament to its success is the fact that we are still using the system today, some 20 years later! If we were unable to verify patients' postal addresses with the software from PostCoder.com, the payments we receive from the Department of Health and Primary Care Trust would be affected, money without which we cannot survive. It is therefore of paramount importance that we have postcode verification software in place to maintain the running of our hospital."
From this specifically configured software, Allies developed an off-the-shelf product known as PostCoder Batch, which he began selling more widely, firstly to other hospitals, and then to the wider market to any commercial organisation that required postcode verification software. As demand for the software expanded, so did the company, and Allies began to increase the product portfolio in the late 1990s.
Today, PostCoder.com is a flourishing business, offering specialist lookup software for both online and offline solutions. Current online products include PostCoder Web (a pay-as-you-go address lookup software), PostCoder Web Nearest (provides a "find my nearest..." search on customers' websites) and PostCoder API Professional (a powerful address collection and search API), while the offline products include PostCoder Pro (a full range of address finding searches) and PostCoder Batch (an address database cleaning product).
A new era
2011 marks the year that PostCoder.com launched version 2.0 of its highly successful web offering, PostCoder Web. PostCoder Web 2.0 is a pay-as-you-go solution, providing users with effective address lookup for website registration pages and order forms. PostCoder.com differentiates itself from competitors by not charging customers if they enter an invalid postcode: instead, users are simply charged per successful address lookup.
Last year PostCoder.com developed and launched the international address lookup engine, WorldAddresses.com. WorldAddresses.com has already, since launching only in late 2010, collated and standardised address data for the UK, USA, Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Chile, Republic of Ireland, Hong Kong, Denmark, Brazil, Argentia, Nigeria, Ecuador, Morocco and Turkey, with many more countries' data scheduled to be made available throughout 2011.
Emma Gooderham, Managing Director of PostCoder.com, who started as a sales executive at the company, concludes, "2011 marks a new high point for the PostCoder.com brand. Since our founding 25 years ago, our company has prided itself on providing excellent customer service, loyalty and honesty, and testament to this is our ability to maintain longstanding relationships, with both customers and suppliers. With the recent launch of our sister brand, WorldAddresses.com, the future ahead is looking extremely positive. Already providing international address data for countries that represent a massive 72% of the top 10 UK export countries, we are hoping to expand the brand even further."
